Downloadable fiction coming soon to Child of Glass

Hey, just wanted to point out a few things. Firstly, the song that’s playing right now in the background as you visit my website? It’s called Fame is Free, wrote in late 1990s, recorded and mastered last year with Suela…

Well guess what, it’s available to download on Rockband3 DLC (Xbox only, sorry) and here’s what it looks like:

There is also a video of the song which is a discotheque mix for it:

But the big news is that as of next month, I will begin publishing some fiction I’ve been working on mostly in the train and on my Ubuntu laptop. I’ll probably start with a couple pages, and add some regularly, maybe make some “episodes” available as downloadable PDF files to read on Android and iOS devices. You’ll notice that I’ve added the FICTION page category at top, for now it leads nowhere, but in a few weeks you’ll get the first episode of The Last Viking which I sincerely hope you all enjoy.

Naturally, I will keep you all posted once it’s available.

Ah, before I forget, we were in second place on those Montreal Indie charts for a while earlier this week, maybe we can reach first this time ah?

And once again we’re climbing those charts!

This time we’re in 4th place for the Montreal charts with Rocket Science, which I only just released last night.

One word, wow! Then another couple, thank you!

Rocket Science, immediate release.

This is weird because I meant it to be the most “rock” song I made, and instead it came out reggae! But it sounds awesome, at least I really like it.

So here it is, Rocket Science. Enjoy peeps!

Light up the Night immediate celebratory release

Because I’m in a celebratory mood, and I have Havana Club available, and ice, and since the new single Light Up The Night is finished, I’m releasing it here for free download but for a limited time. You can simply stream it from the player on the right, which autoplays and thereby leaves you little choice.

Otherwise, you can use the download link to well, download it. Just right click and save otherwise it will stream…

A little history about this song. I wrote it in 1986, initially it was called There She Goes and was an adolescent rant about an imaginary girlfriend. It was a gloomy song and I tried to make it a bit, lighter but it still has some classic-goth undertones to the 8 minute techno/rock result.

In your face 4 minute radio broadcasting standard, this is the Interwebz!

If the feedback is good I might submit it to this year’s Canadian Songwriting Contest, the worst thing that might happen is that I will increase my current streak of having been completely ignored by the jury, to 8 years in a row and win a magazine subscription for a year.

Sadly the magazine is Canadian Musician, which noone actually reads, not even the people writing it. It does have nice pictures sometimes though, and uses nice glossy paper.

Also it looks good when I pretend to read it in the train or metro… let’s not tell them I actually have my iPad and some issues of The Walking Dead tucked inside it.

Left For Dead Halloween techno/acid mix released

Possibly the worst Gimp photoshop in the history of computers

For all you gamers and zombie fans out there, here’s Left For Dead. My tribute to the video game and also, a little bit, to The Walking Dead series. Ok make that a big bit. I’ll admit it, it’s a guilty pleasure, I was never a big fan of comic books but after I found out that The Walking Dead TV series was based on a comic book series, I had to get it.

It’s awesome.

In the mean time, enjoy the tune peeps! Streaming to the right, on the usual player.
